Learning Advantage Inc Deluxe Yacker Tracker with Remote Control

I use this in my classroom to monitor the noise level. I like the upgraded model that counts the number of red lights. I use the number to take away minutes from free choice at the end of the day. Works well and keeps the noise level in class at a minimum when necessary. I do wish however that this had a few more Higher level sensitivity settings. The amount of noise that it takes to make it work seems a little bit loud in the classroom. Update: I have had this product for over two years now and the it takes more and more noise to make the red light go on. I only use the colored lights now. . Not the sensitivity levels. I had a previous version of this for about 10 years and it worked perfectly the whole time until it just stopped working and that’s why I bought this new one.

The speakers on the Yacker Tracker are not very loud but it did have a way to connect speakers. I would like to use it without something else connected to it.

This is a great additional to the classroom. This is VERY light, I thought it would have been a bit solid for the price, it's very hollow. Voice recording playback is very distorted.

I have used the original yacker tracker and the kids loved it...until one of them knocked it off the table and broke it. I'm excited to have this upgraded model and can't wait to use it next year.

I got this for my son for Christmas. It was a lot of fun and worked well but after two weeks it stopped working. When I called the seller to ask for an exchange I was informed that they have had so many returns that they are no longer selling this item. They refunded my money which I appreciated, but I have a disappointed child. I won't take a chance on buying another one.

We installed the Yacker Tracker and the volume was too low for the students to hear, also about less than a month the decimal lights no longer worked. We had to return it.

I wanted to love this. But it's not loud enough for a large group of noisy kids (I taught huge drama and art classes, though, so...) Other things I didn't like about it: I wish that you could use the remote control to change light manually. And I wish that they'd average the ambient volume over a few seconds so that one kid with a very quick shout couldn't trigger it; inevitably, there's at least one wise guy in every class who will try it before you teach them that that is a Very Bad Idea. ;-)

This is my second Yacker Tracker (I wore the first one out). Love it!

I bought this for my autistic daughter as she is a very loud talker and so far it seems to be working

I loved the idea of this, and used it right after I bought it in 2019. Because of Covid and going into virtual school, it was put away until now. I pulled it out (it was safely placed away, in the box), and it doesn't work anymore. For the price, I would have preferred it work longer than the 6 months I used it.
