HOW DO I PLACE THE BLACKOUT RFID BLOCKING CARD IN MY WALLET?

Place a BLACKOUT card anywhere within the same section as your contactless cards. Protection works equally on both sides of the card, with coverage extending approximately 5 cm above and below, making it suitable for wallets, purses and card holders.

DOES ONE BLACKOUT CARD PROTECT MULTIPLE CONTACTLESS CARDS?

Yes. One BLACKOUT RFID blocking card can protect multiple contactless credit cards, debit cards and travel cards stored within its approximately 10 cm total protection range.

DOES THE BLACKOUT RFID BLOCKER AFFECT APPLE PAY OR MOBILE PHONES?

No. BLACKOUT does not interfere with Apple Pay, Google Pay or mobile phone NFC systems. The RFID card blocker protects nearby contactless cards while mobile payments continue to work normally.

HOW CAN I TEST THAT THE BLACKOUT RFID BLOCKING CARD WORKS?

Place the BLACKOUT card directly over a contactless bank card and attempt a tap payment at a payment terminal. The reader should fail to detect the protected card while within the blocking range.

DOES THE BLACKOUT RFID BLOCKING CARD PROTECT OYSTER CARDS AND TRAVEL PASSES?

Yes. BLACKOUT protects many RFID and NFC travel cards operating at 13.56 MHz, including Oyster cards, contactless travel passes and similar smart cards, functioning as a Force Field Max card protector for everyday wallet protection.
