Alright people lets do this one more time. - Alright people lets do this one more time. Nick Spencer is an 'Amazing' writer. This comes off the back of Dan Slott (the guy who wrote the book for 10 years) stopping and Nick Spencer to prove his worth. This book is a breath of fresh air and immediately indicates that this story will be more traditional and grounded. No body swapping with your 2nd arch nemesis, crazy families that feast on Spider-Men and Women or Parker industries that are in Shanghai, London and San Francisco. This book has an authentic and fun feel while still maintaining a brilliant story. I can't wait to see what Nick does with this new villan and i am extremely excited for the future of this series. You should definitely pick this book up and give it a read. Side Note This book has been critisized for an incorrect description, the book says it has issues 1-5 yet it only has 1-4 yet its still the same length, (120 ish pages) i really don't see the point in complaining.

excellent jumping on point for new readers
Amazing Spider-Man vol 1 (2018). Strictly speaking this is the fifth iteration of the comic. One of my favourite artist's first time on a marvel book. This is an excellent jumping on point for new readers or if you've ever wanted to read Spider-Man. I'd give it a solid rating - I enjoyed it, but for me wasn't quite as good as Bendis' Ultimate Spider-Man. I will pick up the next volume of this for sure.

Classic Spider-Man
I thoroughly enjoyed this establishing and experimenting with the Spider-Man/ Peter Parker status quo and continued fallout from Spectacular Spider-Man. The puns fly and I genuinely giggled at a few. This is a solid comic, perfect light reading with decent art and writing. It won't go down in history as one of the most memorable and amazing arcs, but I was thoroughly entertained.

Not a bad re-jig
Enjoyable re-start up of the book. I don't know the full backstories that are referenced, but the book works fine without this knowledge.
