Cooking with Edible Flowers: Storey Country Wisdom Bulletin A-223

I loved this handy little starter cookbook. A perfect introduction to cooking with flowers. I have used it in addition to a window edible flower growing kit from Urban Leaf. Great for that cook just learing about the joys of culinary pursuits and the newly retired person with time to finally able to explore those gastronomic paths that were closed to them previously.

The book arrived in good time (actually sooner than I anticipated). It is in excellent condition, and I am glad to have it in my collection. You ask elsewhere on this response form whether I am over 13. Let me say a resounding, "Yes!" I was 13 in 1955. I began eating my mother's flowers when I was 2 (I ate one of her tulips). Liked 'em ever since!

a great little book to explore cooking with flowers (mostly making salads) without making a huge financial investment.

was looking for a pocket edible flowers book but this is a little big for that with not quite enough info.

This compact book of edible flower recipes is full of great, easy to prepare recipes. The book is nicely designed and has just the right amount of instruction to chatty bits about the recipes. Also, a great job warning of any pitfalls - not over browning the pretty pancakes, etc.

A great little book for those who like to experiment and eat produce from the flower garden. This is part of a series that are all helping us to relearn lost knowledge that our grandmothers knew and used regularly. Buy the book before you plant your flower garden!

This little book has incredible info on cooking with edible flowers...there may be the odd book that covers more vareties and will cost more, but this one is really value for money...there again it is down to the individual taste.

Didn't know much about edible flowers. It has now opened up a whole new world for me. The price was good too

The book was not very appealing to look into but a useful guide to find out which flowers one can eat.
