RANGE NAME Cypress Heavy Duty Bunk Bed . This is a heavy duty bunk bed, designed for adults. We only use solid 19mm pine extra wide base slats. The side rail is 19mm thick with a 30mm base slat support rail, this is screwed on not glued as with a cheaper import beds. The base has a strong centre rail supported by metal brackets (top and bottom beds). The corner posts are 60mm thick, nice and chunky. The ladder can go to the left or right of the bed. The product is sold for easy home assembly

Very sturdy once assembled

Extremely sturdy once you get it assembled, but be warned, it arrives just as pieces of wood and the assembly directions are not that clear. So assembly took over 4 hours, even with 2 people working on it. This absolutely could not be assembled by less than 2 people. I do like it though it is much stronger than others I have seen. The mattresses seem OK, not great, and not sure they would suit adults or children as a permanent bed but I bought this bunk bed for occasional visits from my grandchildren and I believe the mattresses are OK for that.
