Ambrosial Granola Organic Granola and Muesli Sampler, 12-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 3)

Better than average grocery story brands. If I am going to spend this much though, I will go for non-GMO like KIND or Love Grown Foods.

I have enjoyed Ambrosial Granola for years. Their Grecian Grove Orange, Apricot & Cranberry flavor is a favorite for the whole family. My kids love it and I like it because it’s wholegrain, certified organic and naturally sweetened granola cereal with lots of dry fruits. To create some excitement, I decided to try the small variety pack to see if we like the other two flavors they make. I am glad I did, because now I can add variety, while keeping my high quality standards.I loved the other flavors too! They are pure, delicious and offer lots of excellent nutrition. I read labels, all the time and thoroughly. I like the fact that their portion size is realistic (1/2 a cup) and not just a few grams which are never enough for me or anyone else and end up eating more. I also appreciate that this company goes beyond fiber and protein to show micro-nutrients in a long nutrition facts panel that I have not found in any similar granola or muesli I tried.No added oil in baking is great for us, because I know we get only the heart-healthy fats from nuts and seeds. I feel even better knowing that the subtle sweetness is natural, mainly from the organic dry fruits, so dense in nutrients. A hint of organic honey and molasses add flavor. Their muesli is totally unsweetened and I’m glad my kids love it too. It has so many dry fruits, no need for anything else really.Adding on top of Greek yogurt is our favorite way of enjoying all varieties. I like to sprinkle over green or fruit salad for crunchiness and flavor and kids love to sprinkle granola over ice cream too.Really great products!

Well, I ordered the sampler cause Hey! Prevention magazine called this the healthiest cereal in 2011. They taste great. Here are the ingredients--taken from Amazon: Organic rolled oats, organic honey, organic dates (dates, oat flour), organic raisins, organic coconut, organic brown rice syrup, organic molasses, etc.So, I get oats and 5 types of sugar (dates and raisins are sugar bombs). I suspect Prevention magazine is owned by Kellogs or Captain Crunch or Tricks.

I have tried many granolas and I always go back to Ambrosial. I like that it has a lot of fruit/nuts in it. Love all their products!
