Infrared Obstacle Avoidance Sensor For Arduino Smart Car Robot Description :  The sensor module light is adaptable to the environment, the working voltage of 3.3 V to 5 V. It has a pair of infrared transmitting and receiving tube, when detecting direction meet with obstacles (reflecting surface), reflected infrared receiving by the tube. After the comparator circuit processing, green indicator will light up, at the same time the signal output interface  output a digital signal (a low level signal), can be adjust the detection distance through the potentiometer knob, effective distance range 2 ~ 80 cm, easy to assemble and use. So it can be widely used in robot obstacle avoidance, obstacle avoidance car, line count, and so on many occasions. Package included :  1 x Arduino obstacle avoidance sensor

La description parle d'une détection réglable entre 2 et 80 cm.Effectivement on peut régler la distance de détection grâce à la résistance variable.Sur les 2 cartes que j'ai achetée je n'arrive à une distance max que de 12 cm pour la 1ere et de 10 cm pour la seconde.A part ça la carte est assez compacte et pas mal pensée.
