Le Veneziane Italian Gluten Free Corn Pasta Anelini 250

This tastes delicious and has a great mouth feel. The taste is almost buttery, and it cooks up beautifully. I have had many gluten free pastas over the years, and the corn pasta is definitely the best. The rice is too easy to overcook and doesn’t always keep it’s shape very well. I brought water to a boil, and dumped in the box,of pasta, which was a lot! I turned off the heat and covered the pasta with a lid and let it sit for just under eight minutes. It turned out perfectly, and I have enough leftover to reheat in broth for a quick lunch. Or two. Or three! They don’t look very big, but they expand when cooked, and this eight ounce package was way more than I thought it would be. Kids of all ages like this shape, and with a good pasta sauce you can have Spaghettios that taste great. We are so enamored of these, that I am ordering more. Yeah, they’re a little,pricey but totally worth it. Now if they only made alphabet pasta, I would be over the moon, but I will take what I can get. This brand is as good as it gets. If you didn’t tell someone it was gluten free, they would never know it. I also recommend the lasagna noodles and the ditalinni.

Makes more than expected. I use in some chicken soup and ended up having to add more broth!

I absolutely love Le Veneziane Gluten Free Pasta products. I've purchased many other brands of gluten free pasta and they tent to taste like cardboard or worse. I found this brand years ago in a grocery store in Long Island, took a chance on it then and fell in love. Sadly, it became incredibly difficult to find so I'm very grateful that Amazon has brought it back into my life. I recently used their Anellini as a noodle for chicken soup and it tasted just like regular thin noodles would, not to mention it didn't make the broth cloudy as many other GF pastas with rice tend to do. If you're GF or just looking to change things up and cut some of the wheat out of your life, I assure you, this brand makes it easy to do that, while still enjoying sauce, soup, baked pasta dishes, and more.

As a gluten free italian, this is the best pasta I could find. Excellent texture and taste.
