Have not tried them, but using them have come up with some of my own. Interesting concept* Used five days and have already lost three pounds* Smooth action with cable and pulley for climber* Sturdy well built. Has both exercise and storage positions that lock in place with the use of a sturdy stainless steel push rod.* Lightweight under 35 pounds making it easy to move.Cons:* Can damage rollers if improperly using machineOkay I saw a lot of videos on YouTube featuring this machine. I've used a VersaClimber machine in the past at the spa. Even those machines can have troubles with friction. For the most part I think MaxiClimber has the friction problem minimized the best they can. Also was considering a VersaClimber but they are ten times the expense, a whole lot larger, and still need maintenance. All machines need to be maintained properly to continue smooth operation.Now if you really want to loose weight and still watch TV. Just put this in front of your TV and use your MaxiClimber while watching the tube.... Your brain may turn to mush, as mine already has, but your body will get toned up in no time. Lastly get at a minimum a vinyl carpet runner 28” x 60” to protect your floor or carpet from all the sweat that will be pouring off your body.Thank you for reading my review:Again Please give this review a thumbs up. When it says total body workout it means it! This thing is a beast of a machine for being as simple as it is. It places a lot of emphasis on your core, and remarkably works all parts of your body. Packaging wasn’t bad, less than 50 pounds I know that much. I weigh about a buck 20 and was able to carry it to our upstairs apartment easily. Set p was simple and the directions are easy to follow, my husband was able to put it together with no problems, that says a lot! As for use, we haven’t had any problems and we have had it nearly a month and have definitely seen a difference. DO NO LEAN BACK! One thing I will stress is not leaning back, which means you can’t see your rep time, speed, or calories burned. We honestly don’t care about micromanaging a workout, if you’re pushing and sweating you’re doing it right. But for those that count calories and how much you’ve burnt through the electronic piece in the middle might be very hard for you to read while exercising. As far as sturdiness it’s good, my husband felt a little wobbly at first, he’s pushing 215 and he said he felt ok once he got used to the motion. You stand up higher than you realize but the amount of floor space it takes up is almost nothing, probably like 3 sqft.

My wife and I love using this thing to get a great cardio workout every morning before work. It was able to adjust to work for her height and mine. And it definitely felt like a tough workout, but challenging in a great way. Assembly was easy enough. I probably didn't take any longer than 15 minutes to put together.BUT....after about 4 weeks of usage it fell apart. The inner wheel that helps it glide up and down began to wear down until it eventually would not roll up and down at all unless a great amount of force was placed on the foot pedal. I've taken photos of what I'm talking about. You will see where the poles started to rub raw and start scraping into each other instead of gliding past one another like is supposed to. The product was not mistreated or handled in any way. And both my wife and I are definitely under the weight limit, so it makes me feel that the product does not have great build quality.To be fair, I was probably in the minority of people who buy exercise equipment and actually used it daily and sometimes bi-daily basis, along with my wife. So these 4 weeks it was probably used over 75 times. So maybe the product would have lasted longer if we weren't workout freaks. But that's still no excuse for it falling apart after 75+ uses.

PROS1. It really was easy to assemble, no issues setting it up.2. Its a very good workout. I'm 56 and in fairly good shape but i was winded by 5 mins.3. I feel the it mostly in my thighs and butt. You thighs will burn, expect it.4. It folds easily so I'm able to store it upright in my closet.5. It is adjustable for different heights.CONS1. The timer display is too low and close to the body to read while your on the machine. I get around this by using a timer on my smart phones.2. If you have moderate to severe knee pain I would not recommend this product. I have mild knee pain but it doesn't prevent me from using it, once my thighs are burning I forget all about my knees.Overall its a well designed machine that provides a good workout and I will keep using it as part of my fitness routine.

Im 6'3" 225lb and this thing is stable and gives a great cardio work out, push with the legs then pull more with arms then reverse grip. I feel it in bi's, tri's, lats, gluts, and legs are on fire. No knee problems i do 15 min am and 15 min pm.
