Very good educational game, tricky but still solvable.the way it works is each block has 4 sides, with three rotating parts. You have to match the patterns up.Each block is slightly different so the order matters.Took a few minutes to learn and notice the subtle patterns but we had lots of fun solving the puzzles.If your child likes lego they will probably be able to solve these no problem.Pro:✅ well made educational device✅ feels like a toy but it's teaching pattern recognition and logic✅ lots of puzzles to try to match✅ good difficulty✅ good quality✅ fun!Cons❌ wish it has a lid for the tray❌ book is quite small, but does fit inside the tray

🧩This is a great little fidget style game🧩You use the four cubes to match up designs in a booklet - we did find one mistake in the book🧩The cubes are made of three discs that spin easily and are very satisfying to spin🧩The booklet sits in the tray with the four cubes but as it's advertised as a 'travel' toy It would be better to have something you could put it in or a lid as the cubes and booklet just fall out in your bag🧩However, my daughter loved playing with it and it is perfect for solo play🧩There is a limited amount of play in it but you can lengthen its life by timing how long it takes you to make a sequence and if you can beat your previous time

My kids love the Learning Resources Brainometry Cubed, it's a great way to keep their minds sharp and active. The different faces and challenges provide endless entertainment and mental stimulation, perfect for travel or quiet time at home. Highly recommend!

Set of 4 cubes, each divided into 3 parallel sections which rotate freely. On first glance the cubes look the same, but there are differences in the order in which the different patterned sections are positioned relative to each other, such that there is only one correct way to correctly reproduce each of the patterns in the enclosed booklet. A good learning tool to encourage close attention to detail, practice vocabulary and check verbal comprehension of concepts such as of prepositions, if an adult were to give verbal instructions for the child to follow. The cubes are numbered 1-4, another leaning opportunity, and black on one side. They spin quite loose and freely (one of mine sticks just a bit), not stiff like a typical puzzle cube, so these actually also make quite a nice little fidget toy as well.I would say that the stated age range is pretty spot on, but could also see older and younger children getting something out of this. Even as an adult I have a bit of fun completing some of the puzzles and almost considering holding onto it to test my faculties as I get older!

The puzzle game is quite fun, with cubes to twist around and arrange. There are 4 cubes, each of where has a different combination of the colourful patterned sections on each side, and the top and bottom sides are blank or have a number.The game comes with a small booklet with designs to try and recreate with the blocks, and the blocks need twisting and then placing in the right place to match the book.The age range is about right being 6+, although my 5 year old also enjoys doing it. My 8 year old finds it too easy, but I have tried it myself, and I still enjoy matching the designs, it is quite fun.

This game was brilliant fun for my son. My son has sensory needs, so this was brilliant at keeping him calm and occupied. The game is really well designed and is lovely coloured and eye catching. The supplied booklet is small, yet offers puzzles to solve. The tray enables everything to keep tidy. The whole game is educational, yet fun.

I have a lot of Learning Resources items and sometimes they are great but other times they miss the mark.This is one of those times.Cited as ideal for travel, the cubes sit loose in a tray with nothing to contain them, so if you've got them in your bag, they won't stay together for long. They are numbered 1-4, but the instructions I received don't give any indication as to whether these numbers matter or as to what order they are to be followed.The coloured strips seem to be solidly attached but I can imagine over time they might start to peel away with regular use.I'm just baffled by the premise. I'm not sure what I'm meant to be doing. You get four blocks and a booklet of pictures that I think you're supposed to copy and try to do it as quickly as possible. But I'm not seeing the puzzle element at all - it's just a case of "be fast at matching stuff". There's no real skill to learn and I'm not entirely sure the claim that it teaches critical thinking skills is valid here.Overpriced, for sure, and kind of entertaining I guess...but only if you're into that sort of thing. I suppose it's sort of like a Rubix but also nothing like one. I'm not sure about it but that will likely be heavily due to the lack of information that the game has. A booklet of pictures doesn't really explain anything.

Brainometry Cubed - a brain teasing challenge game from Learning Resources .This game / puzzle / learning toy of 4 cubes with 3 rotatable layers has different patterns on each layer on each side . The cubes are numbered 1 - 4 .There is a puzzle book showing 40 x pattern sequences to match to , from easy to more challenging , certainly time wise .It’s not difficult , so surprised to see it’s aimed at age 6+ . The layers turn easily and click into place - I would think a good challenge for motor skills , colour and pattern matching for a younger child , perhaps aged 4 .A simple idea that involves concentration and action . It’s well made with a storage tray for the cubes to sit in . The patterns are little strips stuck onto the sides so I hope they don’t peel.An inexpensive , puzzle , learning and play challenge for little ones .
