I tried a few other thermometers that consistently gave inaccurate results. The Braun ThermoScan 5 is easy to use, results are fast, and it is very accurate! I feel confident using this and trust the results. There’s nothing worse than thinking your kid has a fever and getting a “normal” temp when they’re obviously warm. This has eliminated so much stress around fevers. This model (version 5) was on a great sale when I got it, I had been going back and forth between this one and the latest version and the price on this sold me! I also realized I probably didn’t haaaaave to have the one that connected to my phone if it was gonna save me 50% of the money lol

My toddler is getting close to the age of 3 and it’s time to phase out taking rectal temps. I tried a few other thermometers that consistently gave inaccurate results. The Braun ThermoScan 5 is easy to use, results are fast, and it is very accurate! I feel confident using this and trust the results. There’s nothing worse than thinking your kid has a fever and getting a “normal” temp when they’re obviously warm. This has eliminated so much stress around fevers. This model (version 5) was on a great sale when I got it, I had been going back and forth between this one and the latest version and the price on this sold me!
