Numerical reasoning books seem to help train one for many different kinds of test. Also, needed the answers, so one can check.

It is alright. I have not come across these type of numerical tests for a job application . Maybe this is specific for the UK?

It is okay. You have to make sure what type of numerical test that you will take. I find the material of this book is quite different from what I have been tested on.

This is an absolutely fantastic comprehensive book. The book is divided into three sections: beginner, intermediate and advanced. In each section there are exercises for you to do- then a walk through to demonstrate how the question was solved. It is a great way to learn math- it is more than getting the correct answer but increases your problem solving skills and as a result will improve ability to work more quickly under pressure to complete an exam. I would highly recommend this book for anyone studying for an exam- students and those who want to pass entrance exams to enter professions that require numerical reasoning as part of a selection test.I used to be very limited in my knowledge of math - and I had spent a lot of money on tutors. Now that I have the book- I no longer need a tutor and am enjoying math for the first time as an adult learner.

bought the book to refresh my memory. I found many mistakes, and I found many work arounds not mentioned in the exercises. above all the explanations to how they got the answers were not clear and many times wrong.

Brilliant book helped me prepare for my test and brush up on all of the basic maths you forget from school! GCSE level and has basic, intermediate and advanced examples and tests

Good selection of different types of maths. Will keep you thinking and conscious of time

I think there’s apps out there that do a better job

This book was a great help to me when brushing up on numerical reasoning! A fantastic book to have to help you feel comfortable with mathematical basics that may have been forgotten when you haven't used that part of your brain for a while! A great tool to have when looking into trying a new career where these skills may be tested.
